Explore iPad coding apps which can be used to create projects that demonstrate curricular knowledge. This session will introduce and provide hands-on activities in the following apps: Scratch Jr, Hopscotch, Tynker, Tickle, and Pyonkee.

Get your students to create content rich video projects to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the subject you teach. I will share how to organize the project with check points, story board and script templates, as well as simple scoring rubrics and a template for collecting student work in a google form.

This hands-on workshop is a highly condensed introduction to Code.org's course materials developed to integrate computer science concepts into K5 curriculum.

Attendees will experience both online and unplugged activities and lessons associated with the 20 hours of materials organized into four courses. http://studio.code.org/

Google Drawing is a tool that should be in every teacher's arsenal. Teachers or students can use it in any content area to create infographics and posters, annotate maps, or mark up images. Take advantage of Google's collaboration features and easily integrate work from other Google apps. Finished drawings can be exported as images or PDFs or embedded in Google Sites. Drawing supports Common Core Standards and STEAM by encouraging creativity and building visual literacy, design, and publishing skills as students demonstrate their learning.
